In the early 80's the actual Thompson in .22 was available, I looked at a new one in a gun shop in Hampton, Va with a retail of $375.00. WAY out of my price range with 2 small kids at home.....I wouldn't mind having one of these!

Now that would be sweet, I wonder what the 325 has morphed into these days.

First look at this and I thought it was just another jacket for the 10/22 action.
On closer look it is actually a very good design, using the correct trigger assembly etc (no extended trigger bars).
I like this a lot and would love to handle and fire one. I can see that it would be a fun gun to pull out at the range and would create a lot of interest.
I shoot a fun man v man competition. It would be very distracting for the other shooter if I kept this under raps until we approached the firing line  >:D

Dangermouse I like the evil twist of your mind  >:D

It would be a blast to uncover one at the last minute in a competition, it might give you an edge.

I always had a thing for the Thompson since I was a kid and saw pictures of my great-uncle holding his in Italy during WWII.
