Burris AR-P.E.P.R Mount
« on: December 24, 2011, 01:19:09 PM »

I purchased one of these to mount a Simmons 6-18x40 Pro Target Rifle .22LR Scope on my CMMG SIERRA upper. I bought it as it seemed like a great value. The down side was I wasnt fond of the picatinney's on top of the rings. Unknown to me at the time the mount is sold with standard top ring halves as well. Brownells clearly shows this now on the product page. The mount is very well made and the screws are excellent quality and of the torx variety. This mount is probably way overkill on a .22 but what the heck.

6 screws per ring, yeah, overkill comes to mind.
Hey, you can mount some doo dads on top of your scope now.  ;D
Seriously though, a good place to mount a spirit level.

Funny you say that. Im in the process of "Checking out" with some levels for two other rifles. I wont really need one on this .22. I used one for leveling the crosshairs.

I believe that spirit levels are necessary to obtain the maximum potential from any scoped firearm.
And I agree, they are a great tool for leveling the reticle.
