There so much out there I don't know what to get. I have looked closely at the MP15-22 and the HK 416. I haven't looked at the Colt M4 yet. I try to search info but it's like looking for a needle in a 100 ft high stack of needles. Please give me your suggestions. I have a nine and an eleven year old that love to shoot and i can't afford to let them shoot my armalite .223 to much. I want to get something in the next few weeks.

A CMMG Sierra upper for your Armalite would be my choice, or the new Armalite .22lr upper.

I'd think I'd go the route of .22 upper or conversion kit.
