Would you all knowingly buy a firearm that was being discontinued? I guess since GSG will still be around it would be okay.
Anyone know why they're being discontinued?

I have no issue with a discontinued firearm. It happens every year. At the price of the AK, for me it would be disposable if it failed in a few years

Likely poor sales. My Kalashnikov has functioned very well but uses the less than ideal Russian side mount optics system. And the mount isn't even standard sized.

I shy away from discontinued anything after bad and expensive problems with a shotgun (Charles Daly) and a heating/cooling unit (Fedders) both items were discontinued right after I bought them, then both companies went under.
