Can you TIG weld to the FSB of the GSG-5 where the barrel passes through?

Is the FSB able to take a TIG weld so I can blind pin an extension onto the barrel of my GSG-5P?

Has anyone had any TIG work done in Southern Indiana? I am looking for someone who can recommend a gunsmith to do it.

They don't even have to be a gunsmith if they do great TIG welding.
