Found a couple additional photos. Notice painted finish wearing off bottom of grip frame / main spring housing.

It looks nice at first glance but as I stare I see a little bit of cheese in its construction.

looks like cast zinc alloy with a textured finish that comes off easily....

I fondled one of these at the gun show yesterday, seemed solid enough for a 22.  Still though, it had a hint of "cheapiness" to it.
