First of all I have a Smith & Wesson M&P AR15-.22. Initially I was shooting CCI Blazer. The Blazer ammo worked flawlessly. I've used over 1000 rounds with no failures. More recently I've been using Remington's Golden Bullet. They are brass–plated hollow points. These work but they are unbelievably dirty. I fired over 1500 of these and I can't wait until they're gone. This past weekend I fired 2 magazines of Blazer then 2 magazines of the Remington. We were shooting off of a white table and I noticed after the Remington rounds there was a pile of black soot-like substance on the table. This Remington stuff gunks up my gun really fast.
